I am a pandemic potter, taking classes from Black Mountain potter, Martha Nelson in 2020 and 2021. Martha is a utilitarian maker and the best teacher (www.windandmud.com).
In May 2021, I was very grateful to attend Penland School of Craft for a two-week utilitarian pottery course with Emily Reason (www.emilyreason.com). Those two weeks really challenged my work, allowed fresh air after such a long covid hibernation, and allowed me 24-hour access to a studio.

In September 2021, I received my first potter's wheel. I sell my pottery at the beloved Downtown Books & News in Asheville, North Carolina, and sometimes on Etsy under the name 'Lunar Moss'.
